This policy explains how Horizen collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit joinhorizen.com or contact us about our services. It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Lithuanian Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data.
1. Who we are (data controller)
The data controller for personal data collected through this website is:
- Name: Intelektas verslui, MB (operating under the brand "Horizen")
- Registered address: S. Stanevičiaus g. 46-13, Vilnius, Lithuania
- Company code (įmonės kodas): 304865855
- VAT ID: LT100013642411
- Email: team@joinhorizen.com
- Phone: +370 610 66393
2. What personal data we collect
We collect personal data only when you provide it voluntarily, plus a limited amount of technical data generated automatically by our hosting infrastructure:
- When you contact us (email, phone, LinkedIn): your name, email address, phone number, company, and the content of your message.
- Automatically when you visit the site: standard web-server logs kept by our hosting provider — IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps — used solely for security and capacity purposes.
- Cookies: none. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers (see section 6).
3. Why we use your data (purposes and legal bases)
- To respond to your inquiry — legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To deliver contracted services — legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the website secure and functioning — legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To meet legal obligations (accounting, tax) — legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers acting as processors on our behalf:
- Hosting & email provider: Hostinger (hostinger.com) — hosts this website, stores server logs, and handles email sent to team@joinhorizen.com. Data is hosted in the European Union.
- Fonts: typography is loaded from Google Fonts (Google LLC), which may receive your IP address when fonts are requested.
Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (for example to Google in the United States), the transfer is protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
5. How long we keep your data
- Inquiry correspondence: up to 12 months after the last contact, unless we enter into a contract.
- Contract-related data (invoices, agreements): 10 years, in line with Lithuanian tax and accounting law.
- Server logs: typically 30–90 days, per the hosting provider's settings.
6. Cookies
This website does not set cookies — neither first-party nor third-party — and does not load analytics, advertising, or social-media trackers. Because no cookies are used, no cookie consent banner is required. If this ever changes, this policy and the website will be updated first, and consent will be requested where the law requires it.
7. Horizen Insights and Google Ads data
Horizen operates an in-house intelligence platform, Horizen Insights. The platform processes advertising performance data: campaign, ad group, and asset-level metrics (impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, conversion value) across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, Video, and Demand Gen campaigns; search term reports; keyword planning data (search volumes, trends, forecasts); placement URLs and identifiers with public metadata about those placements. This is business data about advertising accounts and inventory; the platform does not process end-consumer personal data.
- Report files provided to the platform are processed per session and deleted after the import job completes; derived classifications and aggregated reporting data are retained for the duration of the engagement.
- Each client's data is used only to produce that client's reporting, keyword research, and audits. It is never shared across clients, sold, or used for advertising purposes of our own.
- A Google Ads API integration is in development. When an advertiser connects a Google Ads account via Google OAuth, we will access only the data needed for the workflows above (performance reports, search term reports, keyword planning data, and placement reports — read-only). Use of data received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
8. Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Request deletion ("right to be forgotten") where applicable.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt).
To exercise any of these rights, write to team@joinhorizen.com. We respond within 30 days.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data — encrypted transport (HTTPS), restricted access to accounts and infrastructure, and reputable service providers. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the supervisory authority as required by law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Significant changes will be highlighted on the website.
